We design and synthesize a wide variety of new inorganic compounds, mainly alloys and ceramics, to develop innovative solid catalyst materials.
Targeting chemical reactions of high social importance, such as the effective utilization of shale gas and CO2, hydrogen production, and nitrogen conversion, we aim to create catalysts that can make significant contributions to the development of chemical industry and sustainable society.
The Furukawa Lab started in May 2023.
Whether you are interested in catalysts, want to work on the development of new inorganic materials, or want to change the world through material-energy conversion, let's work together in friendly competition to stay on the cutting edge of the world. We are looking forward to working with you! We welcome laboratory tours, telephone and web consultations, etc. at any time.
